TREATING WORK INJURIES AT THE INDIANA HAND TO SHOULDER CENTER
The physicians and staff of the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center are committed to helping workers’ compensation patients return to work as quickly and healthy as possible.
For patients we provide specialty-trained care for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Our workers’ compensation team first considers nonsurgical treatment and will only recommend surgery as a last resort.
For employers, case managers and claims adjusters we strive to ensure an efficient and trouble-free process in scheduling appointments and answering questions while providing assistance wherever needed.

INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EVALUATIONS (IME)
Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center’s board-certified surgeons are often asked to provide comprehensive independent medical evaluations for injuries and conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Evaluations are conducted to determine if prior diagnosis and treatment were accurate and whether further care/treatment may be necessary. For more information call our office at (317) 875-9105 or (800) 888-HAND and select option “2”.
CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR WORKERS’ COMPENSATION REPRESENTATIVES
The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center is dedicated to providing ongoing continuing education. Each year we conduct seminars on topics related to the upper extremity which are geared toward workers’ compensation professionals such as; case managers, physicians, nurses, employers and insurance carrier representatives. Seminar topics vary and we are typically able to provide continuing education credits through the Indiana Commission for Case Managers.
