Treating Sports Medicine Injuries of the Hand, Wrist, Elbow, and Shoulder
Sports activities are common causes of injuries to the hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders. Our physicians have evaluated and treated all types of sports-related injuries, from broken wrists to tendonitis in the shoulder or elbow from overuse.
Many sports injuries can stop you in your tracks, such as an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear or a fracture. Others, such as a sprain or overuse injury, can cause continuous, nagging pain and seemingly never go away. You should seek medical attention if pain persists in one area of your body when participating in sports or other activities.
